Dr. Leahy has been featured in The New York Times, The New York Times Sunday Magazine, Fortune, Newsweek, Individual Investor, Cosmopolitan, Readers Digest, Lady's Home Journal, and Self Magazine and he has been featured on numerous television and radio programs.

His popular audience book,  THE WORRY CURE: SEVEN STEPS TO STOP WORRY FROM STOPPING YOU, has received critical praise and is a selection of the Book of the Month Club, Literary Guild and several other book clubs and is being translated in several languages.

In addition, Dr. Leahy has been a keynote speaker and invited workshop presenter at the Association for the Advancement of Behavior Therapy, World Congress of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the British Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Psychotherapy and the European Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Psychotherapy. He is a frequent invited lecturer nationally and internationally and has presented his work at Yale, Harvard, McGill, Cornell Medical School, the University of Vienna Medical School, Columbia University and at many national and international conferences.
