Dr. Noah Robinson earned his doctorate in clinical psychology at Vanderbilt University, where he trained under Dr. Steven Hollon, a protégé of CBT founder Dr. Aaron T. Beck. Dr. Robinson provides evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for: depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, video game addiction, LGBTQ+ support, trauma, and substance use. Dr. Robinson also specializes in executive coaching and workplace performance enhancement, drawing upon his experience as the CEO of a digital mental health company called Innerworld. Dr. Robinson developed Cognitive Behavioral Immersion™, a new VR therapy where the therapist and client use Innerworld on VR headsets to meet as avatars to learn 3-D CBT tools.
Dr. Robinson’s approach is active and collaborative, drawing on core CBT methods to help clients build practical skills, track progress, and create durable change between sessions. He is currently a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Medical School-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Robinson has published articles and presented globally on CBT, virtual reality, and novel psychotherapeutic interventions.
