Clinical Intake Coordinator 

Calista Foo is the Clinical Intake Coordinator at the American Institute for Cognitive Therapy. She graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Psychology. While at Cornell, she conducted community-engaged research under Dr. Karl Pillemer in the Aging and Dissemination Lab, where she studied factors in dissemination and adoption of aging-related and intergenerational engagement programs.

Prior to joining AICT, Calista worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Florida’s Department of Psychiatry under Dr. Sara Jo Nixon. There, she managed multi-phase studies focused on adult mental health, neurobiobehavioral psychology, and substance use.

Calista plans to pursue graduate studies in clinical psychology and is particularly interested in working with neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan. She has spent the past decade volunteering with organizations that support autistic individuals and their families, and is passionate about improving access to psychological care and enhancing diagnostic clarity.

Outside of work, she enjoys baking sweet treats and cheering on her favorite hockey team, the Tampa Bay Lightning.
