Danielle Honigstein Kasturi, LMSW, Clinician, is a New York state-licensed psychotherapist who works with individuals and couples seeking healthier, more emotionally secure relationships with themselves and one another. Danielle supports adults and adolescents experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, challenging life transitions, early-adulthood identity development, dating and relationship concerns, and persistent feelings of disconnection. She also specializes in supporting couples navigating relational conflict, communication challenges, and the desire for deeper connection. Danielle’s compassionate, practical, and empowering approach supports clients in developing the insight, tools and skills needed to create lives and relationships that are fulfilling and aligned with their values.

Danielle utilizes a blend of evidence-based therapeutic practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, somatic approaches, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care to provide treatment that is tailored to each client’s needs. She strongly believes in the strengths-based perspective that all people are resilient and possess unique assets that should be engaged with as resources for growth. Danielle draws on her social work background to practice from a holistic person-in-environment approach, recognizing that we are all affected by the contexts in which we live.

Danielle earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Jane Addams College of Social Work, where she specialized in clinical mental health and received advanced training in evidence-based behavioral health interventions. She holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University, graduating cum laude. Her prior clinical experience spans medical systems, community mental health, and nonprofit settings.
